Grid Services supports our field technicians with real-time monitoring and remote access to all schools and districts, to keep our technicians ahead of the curve. It is essential for any good team to be able to switch between proactive and reactive modes and our Grid Services team, partnered with our on-site technicians do just that.

James Schmidt, Senior Systems Administrator & Grid Services Team Lead

James Schmidt started at Epiphany Management Group more than three years ago and currently manages the daily operations of Epiphany’s Network Operations Center and oversees our System Administrators. His department handles high-level network and infrastructure issues, as well as providing a path of escalation for difficult, high-profile or large-scale issues and projects passed along from Epiphany’s Field Services. Prior to joining the Epiphany team, James worked as a Remote Support Specialist and a tech shop manager/anchor technician. At Epiphany, James makes sure that he always make the right decisions for each client, based on their individual needs. He is very passionate about the work that is done at Epiphany and has been on board with all aspects of Grid Services since its pilot. James is dedicated to finding new and innovative ways to advance Epiphany’s remote support services, while providing clients with the best possible technology experience.
